This is a special hand crafted indigo mudcloth from Guinea used mostly for wedding celebrations and other royal events in Guinea. It is thinner than the regular mudcloth from Mali.
Threaded with metallics, this mud cloth is worn by both men and women.
The Bogolan technique of dyeing and printing cotton is entirely organic and good for the environment.
